What is Project Wellbeing?

The aim of this research study is to understand the impact of the current anti-immigrant climate on immigrant families with children in PreK-3rd grade. Specifically, we are interested in learning from teachers, mental health professionals, parents and community workers that have worked with children during the fall of 2016 and onward. Through surveys and interviews we hope to gain a holistic understanding of how immigration related information has been transmitted to immigrant families. Additionally, we want to get a better sense of what resources are available, and needed to support school staff in working with families and students impacted by the anti-immigrant climate.
